In December of 2021, ASTM corrected a citation in D6400 for the Canadian heavy metals threshold. BPI’s Certification Scheme has been updated to match these revisions, and BPI Members will have until June 30, 2026 to bring their certified items into compliance with the new thresholds. The table below details the old and new thresholds for the US, Canada, and BPI.
